VSB Gamelan is about the people! There has been a community group comprised of community, L&C Alumni and students since our inception in 1980. This is a special part of our history and our future playing gamelan in Portland. Come Join us!

COMMUNITY GAMELAN

FThe community group rehearses at Lewis & Clark College on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in joining us or getting involved, email us at [email protected]. 

CLASSES

BEGINNING GAMELAN CLASSES are open to both students and to the community. No prior musical experience is required. 

CHILDREN & FAMILY CLASSES & WORKSHOPS are open to children and family members of all ages. We need a minimum of 8 people for a class.

SPECIAL EVENTS
